Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Blink Gee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Oh...Canada kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Blink Gee has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily.
Johnson avoids the head kick by Gee.
Gee sets himself, and Johnson steps forward looking for the clinch! Gee avoids it this time.
Gee shoots in but no luck this time.
Johnson throws a big counter head kick but Gee avoids it with no problem.

As Gee backs off Johnson throws a huge counter combo but Gee manages to avoid it all.

Gee goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Blink Gee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Gee takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Gee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Johnson closes the distance and clinches up with Gee, looking for a takedown. Johnson pushes Gee against the cage but Gee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Johnson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Gee. Gee obviously looking to wear him down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Johnson jumps guard and drags Gee to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Johnson tries to clinch up.

Johnson avoids the head kick by Gee.

Johnson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Johnson avoids the head kick by Gee.
Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gee manages to avoid it.
Gee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gee has his takedown stuffed
and Johnson counters with a three punch combo that has Gee backing up. Gee nods at Johnson to acknowledge the strikes.

Johnson misses with a hook. Gee ducked under it nicely.

Johnson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Gee defends well and Johnson ends up having to push Gee into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Gee keeps control of Johnson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Johnson is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gee to keep the fight standing.

Gee lands an elbow that stopped Johnson in his tracks for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blink Gee dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Gee cracks Johnson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Johnson has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

Whack! Gee lands a heavy head kick that drops Johnson. The ref tackles Gee to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Johnson was done.

Blink Gee tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
