Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Sergio Moraes and Greg Ward. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 5 wins and 1 losses; Sergio Moraes! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 1 losses; Greg Ward!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Gregory Folan.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Moraes clinches.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ward working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Ward is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Moraes is just riding it out for now. Ward eventually gives up the hold.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Ward has got one arm under Moraes's chin. This could be trouble... Moraes trying to control the other hand but Ward gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Moraes has tapped out! The fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Greg Ward started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. |
