Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Richard Robinson and Pete Palahnuik. Palahnuik has chosen Machine Civilization as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 0 losses; Richard Robinson! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 1 losses; Pete Palahnuik!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and William Peck.


Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Robinson jumps guard and drags Palahnuik to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Palahnuik passes into half guard.
Robinson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Palahnuik wants to control but Robinson is keeping him busy.
Palahnuik trying to mount his opponent but Robinson defends it.
Robinson is trying to maintain the position but Palahnuik is very close to passing his half guard.
Robinson's coaches at Gorilla Warfare MMA have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palahnuik trying to mount his opponent but Robinson defends it.
Robinson wants to control but Palahnuik is keeping busy.

Palahnuik seems to be looking for submissions.
Palahnuik not doing much here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Robinson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Palahnuik is working away from the top position though.
Robinson is trying to get back to full guard.
Palahnuik is looking to advance position but Robinson won't allow it.
Palahnuik uses his free foot to push down on Robinson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Robinson.

Robinson wants to hold on but Palahnuik pushes him away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Palahnuik is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Robinson is in real trouble.

Robinson trying to control the hands but Palahnuik breaks the grip.

Robinson trying to control but not successfully.

Robinson is trying to defend against the choke here but Palahnuik has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Palahnuik Tightens the hold and Robinson taps out furiously! Palahnuik displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Pete Palahnuik!
Pete Palahnuik made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Though we do violence, it is our choice. We must not forget, WE ARE ALL ONE!'.
