The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Solomon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Cree, pushing him back against the cage.

Cree turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cree manages to end up in side control.
Solomon striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Solomon tries to bench press Cree off him but Cree keeps the position.
Cree slows the pace down.
Cree working the body and head with strikes.
Solomon on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Cree tries to move to full mount but Solomon actually manages to regain half guard.
Cree performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Cree winds up and cracks Solomon with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Cree throwing shots but Solomon is blocking nicely.
Solomon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Cree wants to lay and pray for a moment but Solomon keeps working.
Solomon on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Cree is pressing down on Solomon's thigh, looking to free his foot. Solomon is holding on for now.
Cree wants to take a breather but Solomon is having none of it.
Cree is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Solomon is hurt! He's hurt bad - Cree fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Solomon from any more punishment! Congratulations to Cree! Great finish!
