Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Han Solo Berger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sun Ce!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berger looks to throw the jab but Ce is out of range.
A big left from Berger misses.
Berger circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ce with a hook.
Ce scores with a decent looking hook.
Berger bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ce's head.
Ce fails to land the takedown.
Berger is looking to counter punch.
Berger throws a low kick but Ce moves out of range easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ce takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ce swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Berger counters with a nice right hand that sends Ce toppling to the canvas! Ce scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Berger finish him?!
Ce is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ce fails with the takedown
and Berger rattles Ce with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Ce tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Berger dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Ce stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Han Solo Berger!
