Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Pott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herger Ysengrin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Herger Ysengrin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ysengrin throws a head kick but Pott moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pott looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ysengrin leaves Pott with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nice sprawl there from Ysengrin as Pott shoots in.
Ysengrin has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Pott is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Ysengrin lands a left and a right that send Pott crashing to the mat, dazed. Ysengrin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Jack Pott has been cut.
A low kick from Ysengrin misses

and Pott counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ysengrin won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ysengrin tries to bench press Pott off him but Pott keeps the position.

Ysengrin has one of Pott's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Pott misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pott postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ysengrin is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Pott off and has taken his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Will Ysengrin go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Ysengrin really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Pott.

Pott has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ysengrin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
