The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petoyanka throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Petoyanka throws a series of strikes that have Emenlieko backpedaling.
It looks like Fedor Emenlieko has been cut.

Emenlieko feinted with a counter takedown.
Petoyanka drops Emenlieko with a right and a left! Petoyanka comes rushing in but Emenlieko regains his composure and manages to keep Petoyanka in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

and Emenlieko counters with a crisp one two that drops Petoyanka! Emenlieko thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Petoyanka to his feet! Petoyanka is in big trouble!
Petoyanka lunges at Emenlieko with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Emenlieko's hand.
Petoyanka drops Emenlieko with a right and a left! Petoyanka comes rushing in but Emenlieko regains his composure and manages to keep Petoyanka in guard.

Petoyanka wants to get up but he can't break Emenlieko's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

and Emenlieko counters with a body kick that stops Petoyanka in his tracks momentarily.

Petoyanka lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Petoyanka misses with a lunging right hand
and Emenlieko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Petoyanka looks to land a right hand but Emenlieko moved out of range.
Emenlieko looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Emenlieko rushes Petoyanka and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
