Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Von Magnaron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Pezzulla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Mirko Pezzulla enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Von Magnaron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mirko Pezzulla!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pezzulla tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Magnaron misses with a takedown attempt - Pezzulla sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Pezzulla throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Magnaron counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Pezzulla throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Magnaron stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

As Magnaron backs off Pezzulla throws a huge counter combo but Magnaron manages to avoid it all.

Pezzulla isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Magnaron stacks Pezzulla on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Magnaron!
