Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Robinson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Emelianenko manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Robinson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Robinson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Robinson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

It looked like Robinson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

A close round but Alexander Emelianenko will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Robinson jumps guard but Emelianenko stands there with Robinson around his waist. Robinson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Scott Robinson.
I think Emelianenko has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
