The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alstott tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Aquila Corvus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Alstott tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Aquila Corvus counters with a straight right hand.
Alstott takes a swing at Aquila Corvus's ribcage but misses.
Aquila Corvus half committed to a counter leg kick.
Alstott is looking to clinch.
Zack Alstott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aquila Corvus cracks Alstott with an open hand slap.
Alstott dives in for a single leg takedown but Aquila Corvus sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Alstott shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Aquila Corvus as he avoids it easily.

Aquila Corvus lands a big uppercut and Alstott crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Alstott looks OK. Aquila Corvus waves Alstott back to his feet!

The referee calls for the bell and Aquila Corvus runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
