Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lawerence Hooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lawerence Hooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hammer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hooper did well to prevent Hammer getting side control.
Hooper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hooper is looking for a sweep. Hammer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Hooper is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Hammer jumps into side control!
Hooper really is a fat lump.

Hammer throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Hammer tries to score with some ground and pound. Hooper controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Hooper is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hammer off and has taken his back!

Hooper cracks Hammer with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Hammer from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Hammer is really stuck here.
Hammer manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hooper's guard. Nice work there by Hammer.
Hammer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Hammer gets to his feet. Hooper looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Hammer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hammer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hooper is breathing heavily.

Hammer decides to stand back up.

Hammer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hammer lands in his opponent's guard.
Hooper wants to get back to his feet but Hammer passes into half guard.

Hammer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hooper looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Hammer tries for a kimura but Hooper is defending well.

Hammer decides to stand back up. Hammer steps back and let's Hooper get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Hammer forces Hooper back against the cage and clinches.
Hammer blocks a body shot from Hooper.
Hooper has had enough of the clinch but Hammer keeps him there for the moment.

Hammer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hooper's guard.

Hooper is working an open guard so Hammer takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Hooper misses with an attempted mid kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hooper throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Hooper wants to stand back up but Hammer manages to pass into side control.
Hooper is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hammer throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Hammer is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Hooper's shoulder. That is not cool.
Hooper takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Hammer controls the position from side control.
Hammer misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Hammer advances nicely into full mount.
Hooper holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Hammer tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Hooper wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hammer.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jack Hammer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Well Hammer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
