Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeffry Cooley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Nguyen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cooley shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Nguyen tries to roll over but Cooley keeps him under control.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Nguyen is looking to control Cooley's arms but Cooley gets an underhook and turns him. Now Nguyen has his back to the cage.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Nguyen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cooley is trying to defend but Nguyen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Some wild striking there from Nguyen.
Cooley shoots in for a takedown but Nguyen shows good takedown defense.
Nguyen finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Horrible takedown attempt by Cooley or perhaps it was just good defense by Nguyen, which made it look bad.

Cooley is working Nguyen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jeffry Cooley.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Cooley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
