Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Reid Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dong Dong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe just misses with a punch to the body.
Dong Dong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Monroe keeps the fight on the outside.

Monroe gets caught napping as Dong dives in and scores a takedown. Monroe manages to retain guard.

Monroe takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Dong closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Monroe did well to prevent Dong getting side control.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dong in particular looking to stall.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Monroe has his foot on Dong's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dong works his way back into a safe position though.

Dong shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Monroe napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The referee warns Monroe that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Monroe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dong lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Well Dong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
