Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Blake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ghazi Okah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Blake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ghazi Okah!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Okah as he jumps to the side.
Okah looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Okah displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Blake.
Blake fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Blake. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Okah buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Blake walks forward, straight into a front kick from Okah.

Blake moves into the clinch successfully.
Blake lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Okah backwards.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blake's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Okah thuds his shin into the meat of Blake's side.

Blake closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Okah takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Okah manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Okah is pressing down on Blake's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Blake drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Okah dives on top into guard.


Blake looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Okah has picked Blake up and slammed him! Blake can't keep hold of the triangle and Okah manages to pass to side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Blake tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Okah decides to stand up, so the ref orders Blake to his feet.
Okah scores with a spinning back kick!

Blake moves into the clinch.
Okah has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Blake misses with the head strike.
Blake is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Okah is defending well.
Okah prevents the takedown attempt.

Blake keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Okah's efforts to push away.

Okah looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Blake escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Okah is trying to push Blake away but Blake has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Okah has had enough of the clinch but Blake keeps him there for the moment.

Okah connects with a leg kick. Blake looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Blake has closed the distance and engaged Okah in a clinch.
Blake has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Okah after a bit of a struggle.
Blake changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Okah fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Okah is pushing down on Blake's leg trying to pass to half guard. Blake is fighting to maintain full guard but Okah has managed to sneak the leg through.

That was a close second round but I would say that David Blake will probably get the nod.

The fighters are battling for position here. Okah manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Okah controls Blake momentarily but Blake frees himself.
Okah is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

And that's the end of the fight!
David Blake showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Blake has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking David Blake rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
