Nielsen comes to the cage accompanied by Wardruna - Fehu. Pulu has chosen Alive as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nielsen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Pulu lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Nielsen creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Maki Pulu has been cut.

Pulu has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Nielsen is trying to keep an underhook but Pulu manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Pulu wants to pass to mount but Nielsen is defending the position.
Pulu has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Nielsen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Pulu fails to advance to Nielsen's back.
