The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Compton.
Despite the aggression on Collis's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Collis fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Compton on the side of the head.

It looks like Edmund Compton has been cut.
Collis scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Collis throws a right hand that Compton ducks under and follows up with a left that Compton also avoids with ease.
Compton really is a fat lump.

Compton gets a double leg takedown into Collis's guard.
Collis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Compton throws a big elbow that misses.

Compton stops Collis from standing up.
Compton wants to get up but he can't break Collis's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Collis is looking to stand up but Compton isn't so interested in that idea.
Collis is wriggling around but Compton manages to pass to half guard.
Collis looks like he's trying to stand up.

Collis kicks off Compton and gets to his feet.

Collis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Compton, pushing him back against the cage.
Compton tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Collis smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edmund Compton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Collis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Compton circles away quickly and effectively.
Compton takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Collis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Collis is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Collis throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Compton is rocked!
Collis connects with a stiff jab that staggers Compton - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
