Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 69 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mountain Rivera!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rivera misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Rivera looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Busioni blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rivera.

Rivera wants to work for an arm triangle but Busioni is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Gary Busioni has been cut.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rivera in particular looking to stall.
Busioni is breathing heavily.
Rivera thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Busioni's head.
Rivera wants to pass to mount but Busioni is defending the position.
Busioni might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Rivera has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Busioni has hold of Rivera's hands but Rivera slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Busioni looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Rivera working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Jeez, Gary Busioni's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gary Busioni's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
