Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carlos Cabron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gaston Avare!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabron misses with a head kick.
Cabron gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Avare.
Avare uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Cabron is rocked!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Cabron.
Cabron takes a swing at Avare's ribcage but misses.
Cabron misses with a wild body shot.
Avare takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A jab from Cabron finds it's way through Avare's defenses.
It looks like Gaston Avare has been cut.
Cabron pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cabron tries a head kick but it misses.
A slapping body kick lands there for Cabron.
Avare misses with a looping left.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Avare cracks Cabron with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Cabron falls to his knees and Avare doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gaston Avare!
