And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pena Veri!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis lands a nice leg kick that just misses Veri's sensitive parts.
Veri displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

It looks like Justin Lewis has been cut.
Lewis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lewis throws a sloppy head kick and Veri moves out of range easily.
Veri feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Lewiss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Veri cracks Lewis with an open hand slap.
Veri swats away the attempt to clinch by Lewis.
As Lewis backs off Veri throws a huge counter combo but Lewis manages to avoid it all.
Veri throws a body shot but no joy.
Lewis throws a head kick but Veri moves out of range.
Veri keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A head kick misses from Lewis.
Lewis misses with a wild combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Veri will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lewis throws a sloppy head kick and Veri moves out of range easily.
Veri wants to counter the offense by Lewis and move into the clinch position.
Lewis is breathing heavily.
Veri lands a jab to the head.
Veri does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lewis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A jab from Veri does it's job there.

Justin Lewis's cut is getting worse.
Veri is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Lewis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lewis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Veri defends well and Lewis ends up having to push Veri into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Justin Lewis. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lewis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Veri stalks Lewis and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lewis's face. Lewis staggers backwards, shaken.

Lewis is rocked!

Lewis avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Oh Lewis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lewis doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lewis seems to have got his legs back now.
Veri bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Justin Lewis's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Veri lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Lewis goes down and covers up as Veri starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
