Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Malingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Minstella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Eddie Malingo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Eddie Malingo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Malingo drives through with a takedown into guard.

Minstella is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Malingo drops back looking for a leg! Minstella is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Minstella manages to kick Malingo off! Malingo jumps back into Minstella's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Malingo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Malingo lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Minstella has momentary wrist control but Malingo slips an elbow through the middle.

Malingo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Minstella with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Malingo is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Minstella is hurt! He's hurt bad - Malingo fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Minstella from any more punishment! Congratulations to Malingo! Great finish!
