The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le Tourniquet swings for the body but Yamaguchi moves out of range.
A little jabbing left from Yamaguchi on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Le Tourniquet takes a swing at Yamaguchi's ribcage but misses.
Le Tourniquet tries to clinch up but Yamaguchi circles away and keeps his distance.
Yamaguchi is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Le Tourniquet with a body shot.

A lazy body kick from Le Tourniquet
and Yamaguchi counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Marvin Le Tourniquet has been cut.
Yamaguchi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yamaguchi scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Le Tourniquet closes the distance looking to clinch
enabling Yamaguchi to counter with a crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yamaguchi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Le Tourniquet tries to clinch but Yamaguchi is having none of it.
Le Tourniquet does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Le Tourniquet throws a body punch but Yamaguchi moves out of range.
Yamaguchi looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

The fighters circle momentarily. Yamaguchi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Le Tourniquet wants to clinch up but Yamaguchi keeps it at a distance.

and Yamaguchi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
A low kick from Le Tourniquet is predictable there
and Yamaguchi counters with an outside leg kick.
Yamaguchi throws a shot from downtown. Le Tourniquet moves away and avoids it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Yamaguchi steps in with a hook that catches Le Tourniquet right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Yamaguchi follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Le Tourniquet looks absolutely devastated.

Kai Yamaguchi bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
