Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shin Murakami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anderson Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shin Murakami!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murakami looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Murakami closes the distance and clinches.

Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Murakami's waist but Murakami gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silva creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Murakami changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Silva slaps away a takedown attempt from Murakami, before circling back to the center of the mat.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Silva misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Murakami.
Murakami is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Silva to keep the fight standing.

Silva goes for a double leg but Murakami avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Murakami continues to drive forward.
Murakami is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Murakami has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

and Murakami counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Murakami is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silva.

Murakami shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Murakami turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Murakami manages to end up in side control.

Murakami looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

Murakami uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Silva.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Murakami ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Murakami no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Murakami has his foot on Silva's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Silva works his way back into a safe position though.

Silva is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Murakami has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Silva is looking to defend but Murakami has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Silva! Murakami pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Silva taps out and this one is all over!
