Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Myke Toifer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Te Rauparaha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myke Toifer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Te Rauparaha!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Rauparaha.
Rauparaha connects with a leg kick. Toifer looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Toifer takes one on the button.
Rauparaha lunges at Toifer with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Toifer's hand.
Toifer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
It seemed like Rauparaha was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Rauparaha cracks the inside of Toifer's front leg.
Toifer doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rauparaha counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rauparaha displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Toifer is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rauparaha steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Toifer is out on his feet! Rauparaha sets himself and nearly takes Toifer's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Te Rauparaha!
After the fight, Te Rauparaha was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
