The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snoats cracks Nakamura with an open hand slap.
Nakamura has closed the distance and engaged Snoats in a clinch.
Nakamura breaks from the clinch.
Snoats misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Nakamura.
Shunsuke Nakamura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nakamura is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Snoats jumps guard but Nakamura turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Nakamura tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Snoats's elbow.

Nakamura throws a punch but it's blocked by Snoats.
Nakamura lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Snoats lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Snoats pulls guard effortlessly.
Nakamura content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Snoats has locked up a guillotine! Snoats's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Nakamura is holding on here and Snoats must be using up a lot of energy. Nakamura has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Snoats gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
