Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shape Shifter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shifter has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Walker is trying to keep an underhook but Shifter manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Shifter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Walker manages to get himself to full guard.
Shifter postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Walker is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shifter, into his guard.

Shifter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Walker defends well and Shifter ends up having to push Walker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Shifter dives in for a single leg takedown but Walker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Walker stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Walker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Walker fakes the leg kick and cracks Shifter in the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Walker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shifter circles away quickly and effectively.
Walker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shifter. That did some damage!

Walker turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Shifter takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Shifter walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Walker checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Walker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Shane Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Walker cracks Shifter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Shape Shifter has been cut.
Walker throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Walker is looking to slow Shifter down with leg kicks.

Walker lands a nice hook to Shifter's body. Shifter takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Shifter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Walker sprawls well. Walker wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shifter gets slowly back to his feet.
Shane Walker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Walker lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shifter misses with a takedown attempt
and Walker comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Shifter stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Walker is on him like rabid pit bull! Shifter slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
