Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kennith Bartlett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Weerapol Nakornluang!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakornluang fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Bartlett seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Kennith Bartlett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Weerapol Nakornluang.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nakornluang slips a jab and a cross from Bartlett.
Nakornluang scores with a shot to the body.
Nakornluang shoots in looking for a takedown. Bartlett tries to sprawl out of it but Nakornluang keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bartlett manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
As Nakornluang tries to get set, Bartlett tries to push him back and clinch up but Nakornluang manages to avoid the attempt.

Bartlett slaps away a takedown attempt from Nakornluang, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Bartlett half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Nakornluang feints a jab promting Bartlett to slip. Nakornluang then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bartlett slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Bartlett has Nakornluang up against the cage in a clinch.
Bartlett is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Nakornluang breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nakornluang attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Nakornluang is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bartlett is defending well.
Bartlett can't break the clinch.
Bartlett goes for a takedown attempt but Nakornluang pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bartlett throws a strike but Nakornluang rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Weerapol Nakornluang dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Nakornluang shoots in and drives through. Bartlett sprawls well.

Nakornluang moves into the clinch.
Nakornluang landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Bartlett gets control of Nakornluang's arms and successfully pulls guard. Bartlett will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Bartlett pulls Nakornluang in close to his closed guard and prevents Nakornluang from doing any damage or advancing position.
Bartlett could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Nakornluang wants to stand but Bartlett is controlling his posture from full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Nakornluang shoots in for a takedown but Bartlett shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Weerapol Nakornluang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bartlett is pressed up against the cage. Nakornluang has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bartlett down to the mat. Bartlett avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Nakornluang stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Weerapol Nakornluang is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Weerapol Nakornluang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Nakornluang has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
