Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wabricio Ferdum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferdum comes to the cage accompanied by PARIS - the devil made me do it. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferdum uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gray has time to react.

Gray misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ferdum.

We've been hearing reports that Ferdum has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Gray looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Ferdum's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Ferdum is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Gray pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Ferdum drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gray pulls his leg out and moves away.

Gray darts in and clinches Ferdum up against the cage.

Gray tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ferdum avoids it.
Gray gets underhooks to prevent Ferdum's takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wabricio Ferdum. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gray is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ferdum is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gray to the mat. Gray regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Ferdum looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gray with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ferdum works his foot free and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ferdum breaks from Gray's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gray wants to control but Ferdum is having none of it.

Ferdum is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Gray has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Gray is still in real trouble! Can Ferdum finish him?

Ferdum throws a sloppy strike and Gray uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Gray has ended up in Ferdum's guard.

Ferdum throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Gray pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ferdum is keeping the position for now.
Ferdum looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gray is one step ahead there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ferdum is trying to control the position but Gray postures up.
Ferdum has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ferdum manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gray manages to get himself to full guard.

Ferdum postures up in Gray's guard and throws a big left but Gray blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Gray is looking to slow Ferdum down with leg kicks.
Gray moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Gray uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ferdum.
Ferdum throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gray.
Gray lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Gray tries to land a front kick but Ferdum steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Gray feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ferdums jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Gray rattles Ferdum with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Ferdum tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Gray dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Ferdum stiff and motionless on the mat!
