The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munk throws a body kick that misses.

Munk darts in and clinches Vigfusson up against the cage.
Munk working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Munk scores with a knee to the head.
Munk landing knees to the body.
Munk lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Munk prevents Vigfusson from breaking the clinch.
Munk has Vigfusson pressed against the cage, preventing Vigfusson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Munk wants a takedown but no success here.
Vigfusson is trying to force a seperation but Munk has the dominant position.
Munk pushes Vigfusson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Munk lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Vigfusson working hard to break the clinch.

Vigfusson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Munk creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vigfusson takes an elbow to the temple.
Munk unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Vigfusson! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Munk is unloading with more strikes now! Vigfusson drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
