Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alonzo Diggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Newport (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diggs comes to the cage accompanied by Trick Daddy - In Da Wind. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newport throws a leg kick
and Diggs counters with a stiff right hand.
Newport listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Diggs throws a hook but Newport blocks it.
Diggs lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Diggs moves out of range as Newport strikes.
Diggs's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Newport connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Diggs scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Alonzo Diggs has been cut.
Diggs uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Newport.

Diggs cracks Newport with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Diggs has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Newport to stand back up!

It looked like Diggs was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Newport.

Diggs swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Newport has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Newport throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Newport counters with a good low kick that Diggs was not able to check.
Newport throws a low kick, looking for Diggs's leg but Diggs calmly moves out of range.
Newport moves away from the strike by Diggs.
Newport throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Diggs is looking for a counter combo.

Diggs is rocked!

Newport feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Diggs sprawling to the canvas! Diggs rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Newport finish him?!
Oh Diggs is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Newport ducks under a wild hook from Diggs.
Diggs gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Newport gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
