The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weeks gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Gracie to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Gracie advances position into side control!
Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Weeks, who protects the arm well.
Gracie goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Weeks rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Gracie's guard! Nice work there by Weeks!
Gracie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Weeks gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Gracie leaves Weeks with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gracie tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Weeks.

Gracie drives through with a takedown into guard.
Gracie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Weeks's guard.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Weeks keeps working.
Weeks is looking to control Gracie's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Weeks avoid being mounted?
Weeks tries to get to full guard but Gracie has control of the leg.
Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Gracie maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Weeks could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Gracie has cracked it and Weeks is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Gracie!
