Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Colin Monroe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tahar Heart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monroe uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Heart has time to react.
Jab by Monroe.
Monroe moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Heart throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Monroe throws a poor cross that misses
and Heart counters with a good low kick that Monroe was not able to check.
Monroe jabs Heart right on the nose. Heart blinks but takes it well.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Heart. Monroe shrugs it off though.
Heart feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Monroe's calf.
Monroe throws a big shot that misses.
Heart throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Monroe throws out a loose jab but Heart uses good head movement to avoid it.
Heart takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Heart goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Heart drops his hands momentarily and Monroe takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Colin Monroe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Monroe misses with an uppercut. Heart saw that one coming.
Monroe checks the leg kick nicely there.
Nice shot lands for Monroe.
Monroe lands with a nice body punch.

Monroe moves out of range as Heart throws a body kick.
Heart avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Heart thinks about the counter body kick.

Heart feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Monroe's calf.
Heart lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Monroe is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Monroe scores with a hook to the body. Heart takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
No joy there for Monroe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Monroe looks to score with a jab to the body but Heart is just out of range.
Heart takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Heart misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Monroe looks to land a right hand but Heart moved out of range.
Monroe moves out of range of the body kick.
Heart delivers a nice body kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Monroe throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Heart counters with a low kick, right behind Monroe 's knee.
Heart takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Heart shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Heart throws a low kick but it's checked well by Monroe.
Monroe stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Monroe throws a shot from downtown. Heart moves away and avoids it.

Heart throws a body kick, spinning off balance
enabling Monroe to counter with a crisp jab.
Heart slips a straight right by Monroe.

Heart takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Heart looks low and kicks high, catching Monroe right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!

Monroe is rocked!
Monroe sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Oh Monroe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Heart pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Monroe throws a looping overhand right but Heart ducks down to avoid it.
Crack! A monster head kick from Heart and Monroe falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Heart!
