The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cieslak moves into the clinch.
Bourne lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Bourne blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bourne stalling the fight.
Bourne tries to land a knee to the head but Cieslak blocks with his arms.

Bourne breaks from the clinch.
Cieslak takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Bourne shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Cieslak's guard.

Bourne landing with the ground and pound.

Bourne stands up and waves to Cieslak to follow him.
Bourne throws a right and a left that Cieslak avoids nicely.

Cieslak moves into the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bourne tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cieslak smiles and moves away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Bourne.

Cieslak darts in and clinches Bourne up against the cage.

Bourne has hold of one of Cieslak's legs. Cieslak is fighting the takedown attempt but Bourne gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Cieslak wants to stand and escape but Bourne is having none of it.
Cieslak avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Bourne thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Cieslak rushes Bourne and presses him up against the cage.
Cieslak has Bourne pressed against the cage, preventing Bourne from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Cieslak misses with some punches.
Bourne blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Bourne's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bourne tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Bourne looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bourne throws a right hand that Cieslak ducks under and follows up with a left that Cieslak also avoids with ease.
Cieslak throws a big counter combination but Bourne scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Cieslak avoids a kick to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Cieslak enables Bourne to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cieslak manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Cieslak can't keep his opponent in guard - Bourne advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Bourne has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Cieslak defend it? Bourne steps over the head and cranks it - Cieslak is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bourne!
