The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harlamov darts in looking for a takedown but Norton gets double underhooks and turns Harlamov into the cage.
Harlamov fails with a takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Harlamov.
Scott Norton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Garik Harlamov.
Harlamov takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Garik Harlamov has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Harlamov.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Norton counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Norton cracks Harlamov with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Harlamov looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Norton finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Norton lands a body shot.

Norton fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Harlamov square on the jaw! Damn, Harlamov is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
