Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hector Linhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Linhares's choice of entrance music: Los Sicarios, Sokol, Koras - A veces. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Brown throws a leg kick which misses Linhares's front leg but catches the back leg as Linhares tries to avoid it.
Linhares feints and then cracks Brown's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Brown down.
Brown moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Hector Linhares has been cut.
Linhares takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Nice uppercut lands for Brown. That snapped Linhares's head back.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown scores with a shot to the body.
Brown paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Linhares misses with a wild body shot.
Linhares avoids the body shot from Brown.
Linhares slips a straight right by Brown.
Linhares lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Linhares scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Brown doesn't seem bothered though.

Brown lands a glancing blow to the side of Linhares's head.
Linhares bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brown's head backwards.
Linhares ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Brown feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Linharess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Brown attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Nice defenses there by Linhares.
Linhares is looking for the big counter here.
Linhares displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Brown.
Good shot there by Brown.
Linhares lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Brown is looking to close the distance but Linhares sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Brown crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Brown is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
