Hyypia is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Al Bowlly - Hang out the stars in Indiana. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. Subzero tried to counter with a leg kick but Hyypia avoided it.

and Hyypia finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hyypia. Subzero does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hyypia fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Subzero looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Subzero is breathing heavily.
Hyypia checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Subzero throws a chopping leg kick but Hyypia manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Hyypia scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Subzero uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hyypia.
