Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clayton Channings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimble Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clayton Channings!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 40 - 24 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Kimble Cho!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cho stuffs the takedown attempt from Channings. Channings gets slowly back to his feet.

Channings closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Channings lands in his opponent's guard.
Cho utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Cho throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Cho wants to stand and escape but Channings is having none of it.

Channings shoots in looking for a takedown. Cho tries to sprawl out of it but Channings keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cho manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Cho throws a big counter head kick but Channings avoids it with no problem.
Cho cracks Channings with an open hand slap.
Cho looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Channings swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Kimble Cho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Channings's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Cho connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Channings scrambles back to his feet.
Channings shoots for a double leg takedown but Cho sprawls well. He's pushed Channings's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Clayton Channings. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That was a close second round but I would say that Clayton Channings will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Channings throws a chopping leg kick but Cho manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Channings throws out a loose jab but Cho uses good head movement to avoid it.

Channings tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cho defends well and Channings ends up having to push Cho into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Cho cracks Channings with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Cho has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Channings to stand back up!
Oh Channings is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cho shapes to counter with a head kick.
BAM! Cho delivers a spinning backfist that drops Channings like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
