Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Styles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sir Crocodile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shaun Styles!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sir Crocodile!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styles takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Crocodile tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Styles was well out of range. Poor timing from Crocodile.

Crocodile is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Styles's half guard.
Styles is breathing heavily.
Styles is refusing to be controlled, as Crocodile sits in half guard.
Crocodile content to control rather than advance.
Crocodile tries to pass the half guard into mount. Styles knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Crocodile is looking to take a break and control but Styles is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Crocodile not doing much here.
Crocodile wants to take a breather but Styles is having none of it.
Crocodile might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Styles haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Crocodile instigates a clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Styles missing with knees to the body.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Styles trying to stall but Crocodile improves his position.

Crocodile ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Crocodile no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Crocodile tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Crocodile has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Styles can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Crocodile keeping moving, preventing Styles from controlling successfully.
Crocodile wants to stand but Styles is controlling the position.

Crocodile escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Styles gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Crocodile has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Styles has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Crocodile manages to break the clinch.

Crocodile bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Crocodile is looking to take a break and control but Styles is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sir Crocodile dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Crocodile fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Styles sprawls well initially but Crocodile persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Crocodile has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Ground and pound from Crocodile.
Sir Crocodile has got the better of the ground game so far.
Crocodile throws a strike but Styles avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Styles not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Styles keeping moving, preventing Crocodile from controlling successfully.
Styles knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Crocodile on the ground.

Styles is working an open guard so Crocodile takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Styles closes this distance looking for a takedown but Crocodile circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Crocodile has closed the distance and engaged Styles in a clinch.

Crocodile gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Styles is wriggling around but Crocodile manages to pass to half guard.

Crocodile thows a huge punch but Styles dodges it nicely.
Crocodile is trying to control the action in half guard but Styles is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Crocodile thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Styles's head.

Crocodile frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Crocodile there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Styles wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Crocodile.
Crocodile trying to control but Styles is having none of it.
Poor strikes thrown by Crocodile there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Crocodile lands a big shot there that rocks Styles but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Crocodile can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Styles is looking to escape.
Crocodile is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Crocodile is landing with some decent strikes but Styles is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Styles is squirming around, avoiding Crocodile's attempts to control the action.

Crocodile wants to finish this one by submission but Styles is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Crocodile.
Styles is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Crocodile tries to control but Styles wriggling away.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sir Crocodile showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Crocodile throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Styles.

Styles takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The strikes coming from Crocodile are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Crocodile decides to stand back up. Crocodile steps back and let's Styles get back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Styles wants to hold on but Crocodile pushes him away.

Crocodile is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Styles is surviving well by controlling Crocodile's body position as best he can.

Crocodile working for a submission but Styles is keeping him at bay.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crocodile can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Styles is looking to escape.
Crocodile throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Crocodile trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Crocodile unloads with some shots from mount but Styles bucks and avoids them well.
Crocodile throws a sloppy strike and Styles uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Styles has ended up in Crocodile's guard.
Crocodile wants to sweep but no luck.

Crocodile is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Styles rolls with it to try and escape but Crocodile cranks on the arm and Styles is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Sir Crocodile!
