The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeBeau misses with an uppercut. Stern saw that one coming.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Stern has hold of one of LeBeau's legs. LeBeau is fighting the takedown attempt but Stern gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Stern working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Stern stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

Well Stern has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
