Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Boyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grayce Maiotempo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander Boyle has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maiotempo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boyle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Boyle throws Maiotempo to one side and escapes!
Boyle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Maiotempo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Maiotempo lands in his opponent's guard.
Boyle is wriggling around but Maiotempo manages to pass to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Maiotempo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Boyle really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Boyle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Maiotempo is working away from the top position though.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Boyle ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Boyle no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Boyle will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Boyle is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Maiotempo seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Boyle does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Boyle pulls guard successfully.

Maiotempo drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Maiotempo seems to have locked his on tight now - Boyle screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Maiotempo, as he picks up the win!
