The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo throws a shot to the body.

Roberson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Roberson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Aldo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Roberson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Roberson darts in looking for a takedown but Aldo gets double underhooks and turns Roberson into the cage.
Aldo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Roberson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Aldo has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A bit of stalling here from Roberson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Aldo is trying to break the clinch but Roberson has him pressed against the cage.

Roberson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Roberson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Aldo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Roberson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Roberson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Aldo misses with a two punch combination.
Aldo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Roberson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Roberson is rocked!
Aldo Throws a clean left jab. Aldo Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Roberson's chin! Roberson crumbles to the ground and Aldo follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Aldo!
