Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Ackley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzykacz Esperanto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Ackley is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jason Ackley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Krzykacz Esperanto!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Esperanto closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Esperanto manages to break the clinch.

Esperanto has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ackley is looking to break free of the clinch but Esperanto has double underhooks.

Esperanto works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Esperanto controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Esperanto passes Ackley's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Esperanto takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ackley gets full guard.
Ackley might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ackley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Esperanto doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Esperanto manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Esperanto decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Esperanto fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ackley, pushing him back against the cage.

Esperanto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Esperanto swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ackley tries to clinch but Esperanto is having none of it.

Esperanto drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Esperanto trying to stand up but can't free himself from Ackley's guard.
Ackley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Esperanto on the ground.
Ackley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Ackley wants to get back to his feet but Esperanto passes into half guard.
Esperanto passes to side control.
Ackley gets back to half guard.
Ackley wants to get back to his feet.
Esperanto trying to mount his opponent but Ackley defends it.

Esperanto seems to be working for a kimura but Ackley defends the submission attempt.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Esperanto takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Esperanto is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Esperanto content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Esperanto is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


A nice inside leg kick there by Ackley. That's going to slow Esperanto down.
Ackley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Esperanto's waist but Esperanto gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ackley off to one side.
Esperanto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ackley connects with a single shot there.
Ackley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Esperanto avoids it really well and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ackley.

Esperanto scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Ackley scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Esperanto manages to mount him!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Esperanto moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ackley has worked his arm free - good work by Ackley!

Esperanto tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Esperanto is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ackley tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Esperanto wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Esperanto is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Ackley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Esperanto tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Esperanto takes a little break here. Ackley wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Esperanto wants to stand but Ackley is controlling his arm.

Esperanto tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Esperanto has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Esperanto slows the pace down.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Esperanto wants to stand but Ackley has his arm trapped.
Ackley is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Esperanto tries to stand but Ackley is controlling his head.

Krzykacz Esperanto showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Esperanto has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Esperanto is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Esperanto makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Ackley wants to sweep but no luck.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Esperanto controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Esperanto has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ackley is proving hard to escape from.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Ackley gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Esperanto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ackley shoots in for a takedown but Esperanto shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Esperanto looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ackley is one step ahead there.
Krzykacz Esperanto has got the better of the ground game so far.
Esperanto is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Esperanto bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ackley's guard.

Esperanto works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Esperanto looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Esperanto in particular looking to stall.

Krzykacz Esperanto comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Esperanto has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
