PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crusher Breaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Breaker kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is I Stand Alone. Reaper has chosen Boom as his entrance music. Spike Reaper has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Crusher Breaker's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Crusher Breaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 20 - 0, fighting out of London, Spike Reaper!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breaker misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Reaper shoots in but Breaker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Reaper closes this distance looking for a takedown but Breaker circles away.
Breaker tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Reaper manages to circle out of the way.
Reaper has his takedown stuffed
and Breaker counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Crusher Breaker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Spike Reaper.

Breaker closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Breaker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Breaker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Reaper is looking to regain half guard here but Breaker keeps moving and retains side control.

Breaker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Reaper, who protects the arm well.

Breaker is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Reaper is defending against the submission attempts here by Breaker.

Reaper is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Breaker pulls his head out easily.

Reaper has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Breaker. Oh but Reaper has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Breaker goes limp - he's gone! Reaper jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Spike Reaper!
Spike Reaper decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
