Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ling Manchu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenneth Ank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Manchu comes to the cage accompanied by Bodies. Ank has chosen RATM as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Ling Manchu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Kenneth Ank!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manchu throws a head kick that misses.
Ank looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Manchu fails with the takedown
and Ank counters with a left and a right that stings Manchu.
Manchu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ank's waist but Ank gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Manchu off to one side.
As Manchu backs off Ank throws a huge counter combo but Manchu manages to avoid it all.
Ank defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Manchu.
Despite the aggression on Ank's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ling Manchu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Manchu throws a right hand that Ank ducks under and follows up with a left that Ank also avoids with ease.
Manchu moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromAnk.
Ank thuds his shin into the meat of Manchu's side.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ank tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Manchu paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Manchu shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ank is trying to defend but Manchu finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Ank manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Manchu keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Ank breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Manchu shoots in for a takedown but Ank shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A head kick misses from Ank.
Ank scores with a kick to the body.
Ank tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Manchu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ank tries to avoid it but Manchu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ank to the ground. Ank escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ank tries to counter by closing the distance.
Manchu dives in for a single leg takedown but Ank sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Ank unleashes a big counter combination but Manchu bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Ank pushes Manchu away with a front kick.
Manchu on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Manchu shoots in looking for a takedown. Ank tries to sprawl out of it but Manchu keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ank manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Left hook, right uppercut from Ank.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Manchu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ank's waist but Ank gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Manchu off to one side.

Manchu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ank is fending him off so far but Manchu persists. Nope, Ank circles away and we're back to standing.

Ank fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Manchu.
Manchu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ank as he jumps to the side.
Ank lands with a nice body kick.
Ank misses with a head kick.
Manchu shoots in but Ank avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Ank stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ank wants it to stay on the feet.
Manchu shoots in for a double leg but Ank sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ank throws a sloppy head kick and Manchu moves out of range easily.
Manchu blocks the body kick.
Ling Manchu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ank checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Ank steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Manchu.

Ank lands a nice leg kick that just misses Manchu's sensitive parts.
Manchu dives in for a single leg takedown but Ank sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Manchu takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ling Manchu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Manchu takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Ank throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Manchu has a takedown stuffed.
And Ank tries to counter it with a takedown but Manchu pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Ank is looking to land body kicks.

Ank will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

We've been hearing that Manchu has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ank wants to get back to his feet but Manchu is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Manchu is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ank has momentary wrist control but Manchu slips an elbow through the middle.
Manchu keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ank's head.
Ank is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Manchu is controlling him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Kenneth Ank showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Manchu looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Manchu working over Ank with some ground and pound. Ank looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Ling Manchu overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Manchu has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Manchu closes the distance and clinches up with Ank, looking for a takedown. Manchu pushes Ank against the cage but Ank circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ank with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ank lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Manchu has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Manchu and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Manchu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ank sprawls well. Ank wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Manchu gets slowly back to his feet.
Kenneth Ank is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
