Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hwai Ja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ghani Ogle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hwai Ja!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ghani Ogle!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ogle throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ja stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Ja moves into the clinch.
Ja misses with a knee to the head.
Ogle is trying to break the clinch but Ja is controlling him.
Knees to the body from Ja.
Ogle wants to break free but Ja has control.
Ogle managing to block the knees to the body from Ja.
Ogle on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Ogle takes a knee to the side of the body.
Ja lands a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ogle's coach down at Body Pain_14elite_650$+VM was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ogle's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Ogle looks to land a combination but Ja avoids it well.

Ja stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ogle swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ja drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ogle dives on top into guard.

Ja has his foot on Ogle's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ogle works his way back into a safe position though.

Ja drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ogle manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ja has Ogle in his guard.

Ja had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ogle defends it easily.

Ja has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ogle is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ja.
Hwai Ja is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Ja is trying to control Ogle's posture but Ogle avoids it.
Ja tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ogle wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Ogle is looking to take a break and control but Ja is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ogle is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ogle connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Ja some visible discomfort.
A lull in the action here as Ogle stalls from top position.
Ghani Ogle has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Ogle wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ja, who protects the arm well.

Ghani Ogle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
