Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Riddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Kruger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kruger comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Enter The Spingbok Ninja kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kruger lands a jab to Riddle's midsection.
Riddle misses with a few strikes there.
Riddle wants to land a leg kick but Kruger is out of range.
Riddle fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kruger checks it well.
Kruger misses with a body kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Kruger.
Riddle lands a jab.
Kruger works Riddle's body with a nice hook.
Kruger throws a shot to the body.
Riddle is breathing heavily.
Riddle takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Riddle doesn't manage to clinch there - Kruger circles away.
A slapping leg kick lands for Kruger.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kruger lands a nice looking kick to the body. Riddle takes a step back to recover.
Kruger scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Jimmy Riddle has been cut.
Kruger sizes up Riddle with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kruger with a nice cross.
Kruger fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Riddle.
Riddle tries to clinch there but Kruger circles away.
Riddle throws a poor cross that misses
and Kruger counters with a nice uppercut.
Kruger lands a nice hook to Riddle's body. Riddle takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kruger connects with a leg kick. Riddle looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kruger lands a big uppercut and Riddle crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Riddle looks OK. Kruger waves Riddle back to his feet!
Riddle is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kruger throws an overhand right that drops Riddle like a sack of potatoes! Kruger dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dustin Kruger!
Dustin Kruger is the new heavyweight champion!
After the fight, Dustin Kruger was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
