PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Niten Dōraku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Penzer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dōraku might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ides Of Light - Jucifer. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penzer takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Dōraku feints and then cracks Penzer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Penzer down.

Dōraku fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Penzer has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

It looked like Dōraku was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Penzer.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Penzer.
Penzer scores with a jab. Dōraku acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Niten Dōraku has been cut.
Penzer throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Dōraku throws a counter high kick but Penzer was just alert enough to avoid it.
Penzer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dōraku to score with a decent uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Penzer is on top in guard.

Niten Dōraku overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dōraku got a little sloppy there for a moment and Penzer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dōraku has managed to get both his arms back between Penzer's legs - danger averted.

Dōraku lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Penzer! More strikes land and this one is all over! Dōraku jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Niten Dōraku tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
