The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Statham misses
and Abaddon counters with a good low kick that Statham was not able to check.
Abaddon throws a series of strikes that have Statham backpedaling.

It looks like Jason Statham has been cut.
Abaddon throws a nice inside leg kick.
Statham misses with a few strikes there.
Abaddon shoots in but no luck this time.
And Statham responds with a good body kick, but Abaddon manages to step out the way in time.
Abaddon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Statham throws a series of punches but Abaddon avoids them all with ease.
Statham throws a half hearted mid kick.
Statham swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Abaddon counters with a one-two to the body.

Abaddon connects with a stiff jab that staggers Statham - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

After the fight, Anthony Abaddon was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
