Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baliwag fails with an attempt to clinch.
Locke throws a hook but Baliwag blocks it.
Baliwag tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Locke defends well and Baliwag ends up having to push Locke into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Locke was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Locke leaves Baliwag with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Baliwag has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Locke is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Baliwag gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Locke counters with a straight right hand.
John Locke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andok Baliwag.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Baliwag shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Locke pinned against the cage. Locke gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Locke stuffs the takedown attempt from Baliwag. Baliwag gets slowly back to his feet.

and Locke counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Baliwag wants to clinch but Locke slips to the side
and Baliwag takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
John Locke is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Locke has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD - Slaughterhouse in the buildup to the fight.

Baliwag is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Baliwag wants to clinch but Locke slips to the side
and Locke counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Locke circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Baliwag to the canvas! Baliwag doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Locke keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
