PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Buri Bokh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tribbiani Joey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bokh comes into the arena with Mt. KHARKHIRAA blaring out of the sound system. Joey has chosen Clasic Sofl Rock as his entrance music. Buri Bokh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buri Bokh!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tribbiani Joey!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bokh works Joey's body with a nice hook.
A slapping leg kick lands for Joey.
Bokh's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Joey connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bokh scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like Buri Bokh has been cut.
Joey misses with a hook to the body
and Bokh counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Joey ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bokh moves into range and connects with a jab.
Bokh tests Joey's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Joey moves away from the strike by Bokh.
Joey fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Joey buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bokh takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice inside leg kick there by Joey. That's going to slow Bokh down.
Bokh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Joey with the counter takedown but Bokh avoids it easily.
Joey throws a leg kick which misses Bokh's front leg but catches the back leg as Bokh tries to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bokh misses with an uppercut. Joey saw that one coming.
Joey drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bokh defends it well.
Joey takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Joey is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Bokh moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buri Bokh!
Buri Bokh retains his welterweight title!
Buri Bokh tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
