Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tweedle Dum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damian Santana will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santana closes the distance but Dum moves to the side
and Dum connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The fighters circling - Santana throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Santana takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Santana misses with a series of wild punches.
Santana connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
A big right from Dum misses.
Santana has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Santana avoids the body shot from Dum.
A left lands for Dum.

Dum instigates a clinch.
Dum tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Santana pulls guard successfully.
Dum is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dum's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Santana is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dum defends well.

Dum knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santana on the ground.

Santana looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Santana is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dum pulls his head out easily.
Dum seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dum is looking to advance position but Santana won't allow it.
Santana wants to get back to full guard.
Dum with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Santana gets full guard.
Dum is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Dum has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Santana is looking for a triangle but Dum pushes his legs off easily.
Dum engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Santana lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Santana drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dum dives on top into guard.

Santana pushes a forearm under Dum's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dum is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
